Right now I am reading a book titled Crazy Faith by Michael Todd. I’ve had this book for a while and before buying it was on my list for a pretty long time. Pastor Michael Todd is a pastor I enjoy listening to on YouTube from time to time.

The summary on the back of this book starts out with the sentence: “There are many things that seem normal or average today that at one point in time seemed absolutely crazy.” The book starts out in the very first sentences with a few illustrations on these normal things from life that were at one time crazy talk to most. One is he says “Imagine with me that the year is 1979.” Pastor Todd then talks about cell phones and how in 1979 the idea of a handheld box you could talk to anyone anywhere was crazy talk.

Then the other night the book talked about wind. This really encouraged me and I hope it does you too. “But no one doubts wind is real. Wind blows, and we see its effects…, Crazy Faith, Michael Todd“. This line started with a sentence on some people’s doubts in God. Let me ask you like me do you find yourself doubting the presence of God at times? In life there’s many moments of doubt for me but if I pause or look back on the moment I can see the hand of God at work.

Right now I participate in a bible study once a week on Wednesday morning. We were just going through the book of Acts 11. In the study I wrote down that I need to be more aware of the Holy Spirit’s moving and the presence of God through the spirit in my life more often.

There’s more lines from Crazy Faith I could quote here but let me suggest you read it for yourself because it has been encouraging to me and hopefully will for you too. For a good encouragement read Acts 11 and the Holy Spirit’s falling on those in the chapter. “And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, as upon us at the beginning. Acts 11:15“

I believe salvation is as easy as ABC. Admit You’re A Sinner, Believe Jesus Is Lord, Call Upon His Name (Confess).

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23-24

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
