Finally, A Wildflower!

As I go through life it is my goal to bring praise to his name who created it all!

“…Christ will be exalted in my body…”

I’ve written about my small wildflower patch in my garden before. I’ll post links to a few posts down below. Well I finally have my first bloom of 2026. Other plants are growing and with the rain we got Friday night I hope they bloom soon!

Well, back to the first bloom. It is from one of the Purple Coneflowers. From my reading on Purple Coneflowers they do not bloom until year two after planting. Last year was year two. I cannot explain the excitement/surprise I had last year when I saw the flowers out there in the patch! Well this year was almost as exciting when I saw it getting ready to bloom first this year!

Anywho, enough rambling! Here’s the bloom:

The bloom is a little fuller now since this picture (taken last week). It’s the only bloom out there int he patch right now but other plants are growing. I’ll be out there for more pictures as soon as they do bloom!

Here’s a few earlier posts from the wildflower patch:

Thanks so much for stopping by to read my ramblings! I have a few requests:

  • Please consider subscribing if you’d like to be notified of when I post again.
  • Share with a friend.

These three items help me to know if I am doing this right. A comment (good or bad) helps me to know what’s working and what’s not.

Thanks!
