Oregon Coast Photos (Post 1)

Click On “My Story -The Tragedy” link in menu above for more on my story in this life.

As I go through life it is my goal to bring praise to his name who created it all!

“…Christ will be exalted in my body…”

I’ve been saying for a couple of weeks I was working through some photos from our recent family vacation out to the west coast of Oregon. When we first started talking about our 2026 family vacation earlier this year my wife asked where I’d like to go. My only response was, “I do not care, just north”. The past couple of years we’ve gone south to the gulf coast but I wanted to go to a cooler climate this year to escape the heat! When we landed back in Arkansas at the end of the trip and walked off the plane, I thought oh we’re back home to the heat and humidity! Thankfully right before we left our house I tossed a hoodie sweatshirt in my bag just in case I needed it. I think I wore that shirt everyday!

Well, enough rambling. I’ll get started sharing. I’ll spread these photos out over a couple of posts to not do a photo overload all at once. As I’ve said there’s quite a few.

Our trip out to Oregon was split into two stops. Our first stop was at Cannon Beach. These first couple of photos were taken our first evening at Cannon Beach walking around looking at Haystack Rock.

Then we woke up early our first morning to go explore around Haystack Rock at low tide. I think this was a favorite moment of the trip for my family.

Then, on our first day at Cannon Beach I spent some time around the Haystack Rock taking pictures of the rocks and birds.

Thanks so much for stopping by to read my ramblings! I have a few requests:

  • Please consider subscribing if you’d like to be notified of when I post again.
  • Share with a friend.

These three items help me to know if I am doing this right. A comment (good or bad) helps me to know what’s working and what’s not.

Thanks!
