Last week I posted a memory post about my first attempt at meteor photography and also how it did not quite work out. So, I thought I’d continue with the memories today. I looked back at the photos I’ve saved on my computer and of course the first images are from my first outing with a DSLR camera, in Alaska. I then found I’ve already posted these photos but I want to post them again. One it’s a great memory and two, what I’d give to be back in Alaska right now escaping the heat! lol
My wife and I were in Alaska for this trip after our wedding in September 2009 on a cruise for our honeymoon. Part of the cruise was a trip to see Hubbard Glacier. I’ll start out with a picture of myself at Hubbard Glacier:
I couldn’t find a copy of this photograph on my computer so I had to go find it on Facebook to verify I was really there!
Now, I have three photographs saved on my computer of Hubbard Glacier so I’ll share them next:

I thought it was neat that as I read the meteor story as I type this, I wrote about Alaska in the above mentioned post too!
